Pudding is a content verification service, imagined and built by Heyitskenton. We make it easy to prove that something you published existed at a specific time and hasn't been altered since.
We believe the internet needs fewer arguments about “who said what first” and more receipts anyone can check for themselves.
The problem we're working on
The internet runs on screenshots, reposts, and quotes — and almost none of it can be traced back to its source. Now that anyone can generate a convincing fake post, fake statement, or fake photo in seconds, "it looks real" has stopped meaning anything. What's missing isn't better detection; it's better receipts.
A Proof Record flips the question. Instead of asking "can we tell this is fake?", it lets a creator, a company, or an institution say: here is exactly what I published, here is when, and here is a fingerprint anyone can check. Verification becomes something the public can do themselves, in seconds, without trusting us or anyone else's word for it.
That matters for a creator whose work gets reposted without credit, for a brand being impersonated in a fake promotion, for a newsroom whose headlines get doctored, and for a government agency whose "statements" get fabricated during a crisis. The same simple receipt serves all of them.
What we promise — and what we don't
Pudding is not a certification body, legal witness, or escrow service. A Proof Record is a strong authenticity signal, not a court judgment — and we'd rather under-claim than oversell.
